Privacy notice

Your data, in plain words.

This page explains what data the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. In short: no profiling cookies, anonymous statistics, and whatever you send through the form is used only to reply to you.

01

Who handles your data

The data controller is Simone Greco, VAT IT05493070758. For any question about your data, write to simocode00@gmail.com.

02

What I collect and why

Contact form. Your name and email and, if you add them, phone, company, the service you’re interested in and your message. I use them only to reply to you and, if needed, to prepare a quote: a pre-contractual step taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I don’t use them for newsletters or advertising, and I don’t pass them on to anyone.

Spam protection. When you send the form, your IP address is used to limit repeated submissions (at most five per hour). It stays only in the server’s temporary memory, is never written to any storage, and is no longer taken into account after an hour. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Anonymous statistics. I use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see which pages are visited and how fast they load: page, referring site, approximate location, browser, operating system, device type and loading times. The data is anonymous and aggregated, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device: a visit is recognised only by a code derived from the request, deleted after 24 hours. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it fast.

Like any website, the hosting provider logs basic request data, such as the IP address, for technical and security reasons, for a limited time. No data is used for automated decisions or to profile you.

03

The providers that help me

  • Vercel Inc. — hosts the site and provides the anonymous statistics.
  • Resend — technically delivers the email with your message.
  • Google (Gmail) — the mailbox where I receive messages.

They are based in the United States: data is transferred under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, namely the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

04

How long

I keep form messages for as long as it takes to handle your request, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last contact. If we end up working together, the data that’s needed is kept for as long as the law requires, for example for tax purposes.

05

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to see the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format, or object to its processing (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). Just write to simocode00@gmail.com. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Leaving your details is optional, but without a name and an email I can’t reply to you.

07

Changes

If anything changes in how the site handles data, I’ll update this page and the date below.
