EDG Racing Garage

EDG Racing Garage is Enrico De Giorgi’s mechatronics workshop in Alessano, in Salento. It does two jobs that usually live under different roofs: the car you drive every day — servicing, diagnostics, specialist work like automatic gearboxes, decarbonisation and DPF cleaning — and preparing cars for the track. The site holds the two together with the line that opens the home page, “from diagnosis to the track”, and with an identity taken from Enrico’s logo: in the hero, the turbine wheel spools up after a beat of lag, like a real turbo, and comes to rest exactly on the drawing.

People with a car problem rarely know what the service they need is called. So the home page starts from “What do you notice?”: pick what you see or hear, and the site tells you what it may come from and which page to read. The service pages explain how the work is done and what the technical words mean — no promises, no prices. The appointment request asks for the car, the plate, the service and a rough date, then opens on WhatsApp already written, with email as the alternative: the site stores nothing, and the customer talks to Enrico directly.

Every job in the workshop is a spec sheet — car, work done, year, in Enrico’s own words — and racing builds get a section of their own, with the note on Article 78 of the Italian Highway Code in plain view: on the road, any modification has to be approved by the Motorizzazione, so the builds are for the track, track days and competitions. Built on Next.js and Tailwind, fully static, with auto-repair structured data and a preview image for every page when a link is shared on WhatsApp.
